Exercise after childbirth

After the exhausting child birth experience many mums feel drained and tired. Exercise is the last thing on there mind. But sometimes it’s needed to bring the energy levels back up and help relax the body. Small amounts of exercise will also help bring your body back into shape and improve your fitness helping you feel better all around.

This doesn’t need to be a strenuous gym work out. To start with it’s advised to start with small bits. Walking for about 15mins for example is a excellent start. Things like the postnatal exercises will help strengthen the pelvic muscles.
